So, next up, a drop pod (notes, as usual)
your latest batch is amazing, the highlight for me has gotta be the Captain, his shield is stunning, was it kitbashed?

Thanks!
And yeah, the captain was a kitbash (I listed the specific parts in the linked post, but he's mostly based on a LE forgeworld marine from maybe 3 years back (I'm scared to check if he's older and I'm losing track of time)). Also, he's definitely my favorite work I've done on a GW model.
Some more Marines, this time, of a rather older variety. (Notes on the Tiger Claws)
Ohh wow, are those Plastic RTB01 figures mixed with Metal RT figures? because they are awsome, I recoginise the Medic figure in there.
You really have made these classics POP with the detail you've painted on them, it makes them stand out as being on par with current figures despite being very primative sculpts.

Hehe, yep. I did a bit of converting because I hate the awkward torso join on the plastics and wanted some more variety.
And yeah, I think those old minis are pretty good, despite their age. I wouldn't say "on par," but I do think they look a lot nicer with modern technique (actual shading and decent photography) goes a long way towards bringing them up.
A few more retro marines (notes)
